Fun with Model Horses – Photo Show Series

facebook.com/groups/modelhorsecustomizers

Hosted within the Model Horse Customizers group, Fun with Model Horses is a welcoming, year-long photo show experience designed for both beginners and advanced hobbyists alike.

At its core, this show is about sharing, learning, and enjoying the hobby together. Whether you’re brand new or highly experienced, you’re invited to participate at your own pace.

How It Works

This is a photo-based show system, making it accessible to everyone. You can:

  • Enter photos and actively compete

  • Participate casually and learn as you go

  • Ask questions and get feedback

  • Or simply observe and learn as a “lurker” (always welcome here)

There’s no pressure, just opportunities to grow.

A Learning-Focused Environment

What makes this show special is the community behind it.
The Model Horse Customizers group is actively moderated to ensure a positive, respectful space where members freely share:

  • Techniques

  • Tips and advice

  • Constructive feedback

  • Helpful insights for all skill levels

Learning happens naturally, through participation, observation, and interaction.

A Practice Ground for Bigger Goals

Think of this series as a practice arena for more formal competitions.
It’s a place to:

  • Try new ideas

  • Build confidence

  • Refine your skills

  • Get comfortable showing your work

All without the pressure of high-stakes competition.

Year-End Championship & Prizes

For those who enjoy a competitive edge, participation throughout the year builds toward an exciting end-of-year championship.

  • Points and placements can accumulate over time

  • Consistent participation can give you an advantage

  • And most importantly, valuable and exciting prizes will be awarded to top competitors

You can participate occasionally for fun, or stay engaged all year with your eye on the final goal.

Join In Your Way

Whether you jump in fully, participate occasionally, or simply watch and learn, Fun with Model Horses is here to bring the community together through creativity, encouragement, and shared passion.

Fun comes first. Growth follows naturally.
