Customer Notice

Please be aware that the ownership and authorship of certain collaborative works, including any derivative versions or releases, are currently the subject of an active case in the Superior Court of the USA since August 20.

In addition, several criminal complaints have been formally submitted to the appropriate Italian authorities, with proof of filing preserved in this case. These filings reflect the seriousness of the dispute, though the outcome remains to be determined by the authorities.

The horses in question were co-authored and publicly sold as such. They were not created by one individual alone, nor were they delivered as a finished work-for-hire commission.

Until these matters are resolved, the status of these works **especially any new derivative releases** remains disputed. Until the Court rules, collectors should understand that purchasing disputed works may carry risks to legitimacy and provenance.

Collectors are urged to exercise caution regarding any potential derivative releases, as ownership of such works remains in dispute until the Court rules.

This matter remains active, and delay or avoidance does not remove the risks associated with disputed works. Collectors are urged to exercise caution before becoming involved with disputed derivative releases. The outcome will be determined in Court, not by promotion or avoidance.

Collectors prize provenance and legitimacy, and I would like to remind everyone that all of these works were originally sold publicly showing the co-ownership and co-authorship. As co-owner, I am continuing legitimate sales in accordance with the original collaboration, maintaining the status quo until the Court determines final rights.

Because this is an international dispute, protections exist under treaties and conventions to safeguard both parties’ rights.

This notice is not intended to prejudge the outcome. The Court will determine the rights of the parties. I am sharing this only so collectors can make informed choices while the matter is pending.

True collaboration honors both creators and the collectors who support them. That is the standard I will continue to uphold.

Why am I posting this?

Because there is an active legal dispute, and I wanted to make sure collectors had the facts so they can make informed choices. The Court will decide the outcome, but until then it’s important that the community understands that certain works are disputed and that my own sales are a continuation of the established releases.
