The draft horse, also known as a heavy horse or working horse, is a breed specifically bred and trained for tasks that demand incredible strength and pulling power. Originally developed for agricultural labor, they have been instrumental in plowing fields, hauling heavy loads, and serving as the backbone of transportation in times past.
Distinguished by their imposing size, sturdy build, and impressive muscularity, draft horses stand as a testament to nature's might and the art of selective breeding. While various breeds fall under the draft category, including the Belgian, Clydesdale, Percheron, and Shire, they all share a common trait - an unwavering willingness to shoulder burdens and work tirelessly alongside humans.
Beyond their sheer physical strength, draft horses possess gentle and docile personalities, endearing them to handlers and admirers alike. Their calm and patient temperament allows them to work closely with humans, forming deep bonds of trust that are essential for successfully accomplishing demanding tasks
